You can now pre-register for Super Mario Run on Android

If you felt a little envious while watching your friends play Super Mario Run on their iPhone or iPad, you won’t have to be for that much longer, as Android users can now pre-register their interest in the game on the Google Play Store.

By doing so, you would be notified when the game becomes available for download. The Android version of Super Mario Run should be largely identical to its iOS counterpart, judging from the game’s description on the Google Play Store. It’ll have three gameplay modes: World Tour, Toad Rally, and Kingdom Builder.

As with the iOS version of the game, a portion of Super Mario Run can be played for free. You’ll have to pay a set purchase price in order to enjoy everything else that the game has to offer.

Super Mario Run made its debut on iOS devices back on December 15. It was downloaded more than 50 million times within the first week of its release, according to Nintendo.
