Yes launches Android app for easier balance checking and bill payments

Mobile internet provider Yes has just announced the launch of its MyYes4G mobile self-care app, which will allow subscribers to check on their data usage, account and profile details, as well as pay their monthly postpaid bills, or buy data add-ons and prepaid credits. Payments can be made either through Maybank2u online banking or credit card.

Through the app, Yes customers will also be able to keep up with the latest promotions and rewards. If you do need the usual customer service personnel to help you, this is accessible via the MyYes4G app as well. That said, the app is only available for Android devices for now.

To coincide with the launch of the MyYes4G app, Yes is rewarding all prepaid and postpaid subscribers who download and install the app with 1GB of free 4G LTE data. All you have to do to redeem the free data is by logging into the app using a valid Yes ID, and then going to the ’Buy Now’ section and hitting the ‘Freebies’ button. The free data comes with a seven-day validity period for prepaid customers, but postpaid users will be able to use it over a 30-day period. You’ll have to redeem it before August 31, 2017, when the promotion comes to an end.
