ViewSonic unveils interactive power-over-Ethernet mini billboards

The new ViewSonic EP1031-r is the latest power-over-Ethernet (PoE) devices from the company.

ViewSonic unveiled its 10-inch wall-mounted multimedia all-in-one, power-over-Ethernet (PoE) ePosters.

The ePosters, named as the EP1031r and EP1032r-T, were designed for point-of-sale advertising on retail shelves, commercial businesses, schools and campuses, or as mounted meeting room signs for corporate and hotel lobbies.

“Technology and consumer expectations have advanced to the point where static displays are quickly being replaced by digital interactive displays able to communicate visually appealing and compelling content,” Max Hsu, Director of Product Marketing, ViewSonic commented. “ViewSonic has a robust line of digital signage displays, available in a broad range of sizes to suit many needs. And this 10-inch ePoster provides our resellers and customers with installation-ready visual displays that are perfect for high-visibility, high-traffic locations.”

Both the EP1031r and EP1032r-T feature 10.1-inch widescreen LCD displays, ensuring any message displayed is crisp and vibrant. Both products also feature built-in wireless and LAN connectivity, and support PoE for convenient content loading and device setting.

In terms of resolution, the EP1031r offers a native resolution of 800 x 480, while the EP1032r-T offers a 1,280 x 800 resolution. Both devices also support the latest HTML5 and SMIL formats.
