The event began with Hiroyuki Nuizato giving a speech, explaining that this year’s 'From Bigger To Biggest' campaign is being held to establish the market perception of “if it’s large, and is a white or brown goods, it means it’s a Sharp.” He also explained that the production of bigger sized panels for AQUOS televisions is possible and economical, thanks to Sharp’s Green Front Sakai production plant, which is the only plant in the industry that fabricates the 10th generation mother glass substrates used to create these large-sized TVs.

The Sharp AQUOS 80-inch LED TV is equipped with Sharp Quattron 4-primary color technology, is 3D ready and has AQUOS Net, which allows it to connect to the Internet for additional features. It is priced at RM28,999. This model will only be available later this year.

On the other hand, the Sharp Avance series of refrigerators come with Sharp Plasmacutter Ion technology that keeps food fresh for longer periods of time, as well as a variety of other user-friendly and intuitive features. There are four models in the Avance series, and they are retailing from RM4,999 to RM7,499. All four models are currently available in the Malaysian market.
