Samsung said to launch Galaxy S11 and second foldable phone in February 2020

Purported render of the Samsung Galaxy S11+.

Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy S11 lineup and its second foldable phone in February 2020.

Sources familiar with Samsung's plans told Bloomberg that the South Korean company plans to unveil the Galaxy Fold clamshell device around the time of the Galaxy S11's launch in February. Both flagship phones are expected to come with the 108MP sensor for the main camera and 5x optical zoom. There would be a time-of-flight sensor similar to the one on the Galaxy Note10+, which will offer depth detection, enhance portrait photos and augmented reality apps.

The 108MP sensor is likely to be the Samsung ISOCELL Bright HMX, which was introduced on the Xiaomi Mi Note 10. Aside from the 108MP and time-of-flight sensors, the Galaxy S11 is also believed to come with a telephoto lens and an ultra-wide lens. The fifth sensor could be the rumoured "Bright Night" module.

Other rumoured specs of the Galaxy S11 include three different screen sizes (6.2 or 6.4, 6.7 and 6.9-inches), 5 variants, 8K video recording, 5G connectivity and support for 25W fast charging
