Rumor: OnePlus 3 to come in two variants, to be unveiled on May 18

OnePlus has been relatively silent about its upcoming flagship smartphone, but information is beginning to leak on what you can expect. 

According to GizmoChina, an insider source claims that the OnePlus 3 could launch in two variants. While both variants will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipsets, the higher-end model will sport 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage space. The base model will come with 4GB RAM, 32GB internal storage space and a price tag of 1999 yuan (approx. RM1,211).

Rumor has it that the OnePlus 3 could be launched on May 18 and be available for purchase in early June. Carl Pei, the Co-founder of OnePlus revealed in February that the OnePlus 3 will be launched "at the end of the second quarter" with a new design. Other rumored specs include Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, a 16MP rear camera, an 8MP front-facing camera and a Full HD display.
