Rumor: Apple Watch reported to be coming with ‘Power-Reserve’ mode

With Apple's 'Spring Forward' event just a week away, we're getting more details regarding the Apple Watch. One of it is from The New York Times, they have reported that there will be a special battery feature called “Power- Reserve. It is an energy-efficient mode that will allow the Apple Watch keep on displaying the time even with poor battery life.
 

According to The Verge, this is apart of company’s efforts to overcome the battery life issue which has become a major concern to most wearable device manufacturers. In addition to that, this smartwatch will also require nightly charging.

Not just that, the news article also reported about behind-the-scenes details of Apple Watch’s development:

 “…Apple engineers who've been putting the device through its paces have kept the Apple Watch in a case that makes it look like one of Samsung's Gear smartwatches” and “its designers originally intended to include sensors to monitor stress and blood pressure, but those ideas were dropped after struggles with the sensors.”
