If you have a hankering for a dual-band wireless router, why not go for one that serves up faster Wi-Fi speeds than your pack-in router? The D-Link DIR-878 will serve you well, thanks to MU-MIMO and 3x3 data streams support. The dual-band router not only delivers up to 1,900Mb/s in combined Wi-Fi speeds, its SmartBeam Forming tech also ensures seamless wireless connectivity as you move from one room to another with your connected device.

Wi-Fi aside, the DIR-878 is no slouch in the wired department either, as there are four Gigabit LAN ports to deliver solid wired connection to your video game consoles, NAS systems, and media centers. Setting up the DIR-878 is also made simple, thanks to D-Link’s setup wizard that can be accessed via a web browser. Whether you choose to use WPA/WPA2 or WPS, you can decide the level of access for each connected user to your liking.

In addition, D-Link’s Smart Connect technology helps to automatically assign individual devices to the best available Wi-Fi bands, between 2.4GHz and 5GHz.

D-Link’s DIR-878 dual-band wireless router will be available this August. No pricing details have been announced.
