ResetPlug helps you turn your router off and on again (so you don't have to)

“Have you tried turning it off and on again?” is one of the most infuriating lines to be heard in tech support history, and one of the most embarrassing ones if it actually works. Now – at least where routers are concerned – there’s apparently an invention that lets you say “yes” with absolute certainty, and it’s a wall plug.

But of course, ResetPlug is no ordinary wall plug. What it does is connects to your Wi-Fi, and keeps your Internet connection in check. Should it gets cut, it cycles power to your router or modem every five minutes until it is on the web again.

As lovely as it is, it does have a couple of problems. First, it doesn’t seem to come in the UK 3-pin plugs that we use, and for US$59.99 (approx. RM239), you’d expect it to come with more than just one plug socket. It's not something a power strip can't fix, but still...
