Purported details about Galaxy S10’s processor and GPU revealed
The Galaxy Note 9 is not receiving much love from the rumour mill as tipsters have recently been turning a lot of their attention on the Samsung’s Galaxy S10 flagship phones which are expected to debut in February 2019.
The latest rumor comes from tipster Ice Universe who has a solid track record on leaks about unannounced products. Ice Universe claims that the Galaxy S10 will be powered by the Exynos 8920 chipset and Mali-G76 MP18 GPU.
The Mali-G76 is ARM’s most advanced GPU and the first to be built on a 7nm process. It is said to have 18 cores that deliver better performance and higher power efficiency than the G72 found in the Exynos 8910 chipset. The Exynos 8920 chipset is likely to come with Samsung’s in-house Mongoose M4 performance cores instead of Cortex A-76.
Samsung is believed to pull out all the stops to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Galaxy S series. There could be as many as three Galaxy S10 models with the flagship variant rumored to have five cameras (two front-facing and a triple-lens system at the back) and the entry level variant could come with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
