Update, Dec 3: This article has been updated to include the Osmo Pocket's price in Singapore.

DJI has today announced the Osmo Pocket, a super compact 3-axis stabilized camera priced at S$519.

Measuring just 10cm tall, the Osmo Pocket features a 1/2.3-inch sensor (1.55μm pixel size) and an F2.0 lens with 80° FOV, and allows you to capture 12.3-megapixel stills and 4K/60fps videos at a 100Mbps data rate. For audio captures, it relies on two built-in microphones and DJI’s advanced noise-canceling algorithms. According to DJI, the internal 875mAh battery will last about two hours when shooting in 4K at 30fps.

The smallest DJI 3-axis stabilized handheld camera to date also comes with an integrated 1-inch touch display, which you can use for live view and easy toggling between the camera’s various shooting modes.

Like many of DJI’s other cameras, the Pocket has several intelligent functions such as ActiveTrack, Motionlapse, and 3x3 Panorama. You can shoot in full auto mode, but you can also manually adjust the aperture, ISO, and shutter speed. Photos (in JPEG, DNG RAW formats) and videos (MP4, MOV using H.264) are saved to a microSD card. While the Pocket uses USB-C, the package also includes a small Lightning adapter for iOS devices.

Also announced today is the DJI Mimo mobile app. In addition to being a media management app, Mimo will give you total control over the gimbal movements and camera parameters, all while serving as a live view monitor during shooting. The camera’s many shooting modes (Story Mode, Pro Mode, FaceTrack , Selfie, Panorama, Timelapse) can all be accessed through the app, and you can also use its editing tools to add filters, music, and watermark stickers to your video masterpieces.

The Osmo Pocket is now available for pre-order on the DJI Store, as well as through DJI flagship stores and authorized retailers starting today. The camera will ship on December 15, 2018. Several accessories for the Pocket are also available for ordering now, including the US$65 controller wheel, the US$65 wireless module, and the US$19 accessory mount.
