Ninetology, Tune Talk and Qualcomm Team Up to Woo the Younger Generation

Earlier today, ASEAN mobile device technology company, Ninetology Marketing Sdn Bhd announced that they are now collaborating with Tune Talk, an ASEAN Mobile Virtual Network Operator and Qualcomm to woo the youth market with a campaign under the theme 'Experiencing Differences with the Youth's Spirit' by launching the entry-level Pearl Mini smartphone.

“Our collaboration with Tune Talk and Qualcomm is to address the demands of the huge youth market. As future leaders of tomorrow and with technology moving at a rapid pace, we want to offer the youths a smart phone that is affordable yet packed with astounding multimedia features that will enable them to connect to the digital world seamlessly, regardless of whether they are living in urban or rural areas,” said Sean Ng, Chief Executive Officer of Ninetology.

The Synergistic Strategic Alliance looks to change the mobile device landscape with the Pearl Mini due to its affordability, breathtaking speed, jaw-dropping graphics and long battery life.

Priced at a super affordable RM399, Ninetology's Pearl Mini is a 3.5-inch smartphone that runs on Google's Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor that gives it fast performance with optimized battery power. Other nifty features the Pearl Mini boasts is a 2-megapixel rear camera, 3.5-inch HVGA display, 1300mAh battery, the ability to store up to 32GB worth of files with a microSD card and it can also support dual SIM cards.

“Being able to access to the Internet is no longer a luxury but a necessity. There is so much to learn from the Internet and to the youths, this is their world. We hope with the launch of Pearl Mini, we will be able to provide them world class quality yet secure edutainment,” he added.

If you thought the Pearl Mini already sounds like a good deal, wait till you hear what customers will get with the packaged Tune Talk prepaid service. The packaged plan includes a RM50 FREE Talktime (comes preloaded with SIM) and RM100 Airtime Rebate (RM10 x 10). For customers to enjoy this rebate, they only need to reload RM20 or more in any denominations each month.

Tune Talk’s Chief Executive Officer, Jason Lo said, “Tune Talk’s philosophy has always been to provide super low calling rates and exciting incentives to the underserved segment of the market. We are happy to collaborate with Ninetology, who shares our vision of having the need to reach out to more youths and to enable them to get on to the Internet.”

This tournament is slated to take place from May till November this year.

“With all these successes behind us, we are confident that Pearl Mini will be a sell out and are expecting 100,000 units to be sold from the date of release, until the next new smart phone model is launched this year,” enthused Sean.
