NIKKOR Lenses Reaches 80 Million Mark

Japanese imaging company Nikon Corporation recently announced that the total number of NIKKOR lenses produced have reached 80 million in June 2013. The first NIKKOR lens was produced in 1959 for the Nikon F SLR. This lens was the NIKKOR-S Auto 5cm f/2, and since then, there have been many excellent NIKKOR lenses.

There have been several noteworthy lenses that were released, including the AF-S NIKKOR 800mm f/5.6E FL ED VR, the NIKKOR 18-35mm f/3.5-4.5G ED, and the AF-S NIKKOR 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR. In addition, Nikon's 1 series have also received new lenses, such as the 1 NIKKOR VR 10-100mm f/4-5.6 and 1 NIKKOR 32mm f/1.2.
