Mercedes-Benz Malaysia improves on customer service with OneWeb, VR and more

As of the first half of 2017, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has retained its position as the top premium car brand in the country, which the company attributes to its superior customer service. As such, the brand aims to provide the best customer experience in several new ways.

From L-R: Mike Ponnaz, Managing Director, Mercedes-Benz Services Malaysia; Dr. Claus Weidner, President and CEO, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia Sdn Bhd; Heinrich Schromm, Vice President, After Sales, Mercedes-Benz Cars; and Mark Raine, Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Mercedes-Benz Cars.

First, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia announced what it calls OneWeb, its new integrated website, to facilitate the needs of its customers, both existing and new. It will be fully implemented in Q4 2017, and will be integrated with other services that the company will be introducing next.

From the revamped site, you'll also be able to access Online Test Drive Booking System and Online Service Booking, which allows you to make appointments for both services simply by filling in the required online form.

If you find yourself at a Mercedes-Benz showroom, you'll also be able to experience the Mercedes-Benz Gallery in VR. You'll get the opportunity to view your choice of model with specific configurations of your choosing.

You can experience the Mercedes-Benz Gallery in either VR...

...or with the interactive digital signage display.

If you've made the decision to get yourself a Mercedes-Benz, then the company has Product Experts who will describe in detail the cars you're looking at, helping you narrow down to the exact model that you want, with the exact configurations. All this takes place before you proceed to the salesperson who, with the use of the SalesTouch mobile tool, will allow you to take a look at your choice of color (both exterior and interior) before you make your final decision.

As of May 2017, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has retained its leading market share of 2.2 percent. The first half of 2017 saw the company delivering a total of 5,913 vehicles and servicing 61,850.
