LINE Mileage announced, a reward program exclusively for Malaysia

If LINE has all this while been the primary method of communication between your friends and family, you will be glad to know that the new LINE Mileage reward program is pretty much tailor-made for your participation.

Here’s how LINE Mileage works: For every message you send to your friends over LINE, you will be awarded with one Friendship Point. The Friendship Points that you have accumulated will then be transferred over to your BCARD for you to redeem rewards.

Simply put, the more you chat with your friends over LINE – whether it’s through the use of stickers, text or sticons – the more points you will gain to redeem rewards. It’s as simple as that!

If you have yet to create a LINE account, don’t worry, as the kind folks at LINE will be giving you a head start by awarding you with 300 Friendship Points (RM3 equivalent) upon registration.

Several household brands are already on board with the LINE Mileage program, including the likes of Starbucks, Chatime, Zalora and Lazada.

Serving as the official face of LINE Mileage is Korean heartthrob Lee Kwang Soo. If you want to see him (and his charmingly good looks) along with his comedic antics in action, you can do so by catching hold of the string of TV commercials that will be screened in due course.

Here’s the breakdown of the LINE Mileage reward program:

Step 1: Send one LINE message to your friends to receive 1 Friendship Point. (1 LINE Message = 1 Friendship Point) *T&C Apply
Step 2: Enter your BCARD account number in the LINE Mileage dashboard under “My BCARD”. BCARD is readily available at no cost at Starbucks, Chatime, Caltex, Cosway and more. (Click here to see the full list of participating merchants)
Step 3: Once you have reached 1,000 Friendship Points, transfer it into your BCARD for 1,000 BCARD Points worth RM10.
Step 4: Redeem your BCARD Points and start enjoying rewards from numerous brands!
