Kingston Server Premier DDR4-2666 memory earns Intel Purley Platform validation

Kingston recently announced that its 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB Server Premier DDR4-2666 Registered DIMMs have received validation on the Intel Purley Platform, which were running on Intel’s latest Xeon Scalable processors, codenamed ‘Skylake-SP’.

The Purley-validated Kingston Server Premier modules are designed to take advantage of Intel’s new six-channel server microarchitecture, without the memory frequency clock down restrictions of previous platforms. They modules are running at speeds of 2,666MT/s, which translates to each DIMM providing a peak bandwidth of 21.3GB/s – crucial when it comes to running the memory intensive server applications of today.
