Jabra launches the Eclipse, STEEL, Halo Fusion and Sport Pace

From L-R: Jasmine Teo, Channel Sales & Marketing Specialist, Consumer Solutions APAC, Jabra and Margaret Ang, Regional Sales Manager, South Asia, Jabra with the Sport Pace and the Eclipse.

If music is something you cannot live without, then you'll be glad to know that Jabra has launched four new products earlier today.

Jabra Eclipse

First in line on the launchpad today is the Jabra Eclipse, which drives home the point that good things come in small packages. Weighing 5.5 grams, it's light enough for you to forget you even have it on. That's not necessarily a bad thing, as it helps you look the part of the savvy professional while you have it on.

The Jabra Eclipse is capable of giving you up to three hours of talk time, but it also comes with a carrying case that doubles as a portable charger, giving you an additional seven hours of talk time. It connects to your phone via Bluetooth, but if that's too much trouble, there's also NFC.

In addition to its noise-isolating design, it also has two noise-cancelling microphones on the outside to make sure you only hear what you intend to. There are also no buttons on the outside; take calls with a double tap, or use voice commands to access features from Siri or Google Now.

The whole thing is small and easy to carry.

The Jabra Eclipse is available in Black or White, and retails at RM569.

There's also a wind sock for when the wind gets too strong and still gets in the way of your calls.

Jabra calls this its toughest wireless headset yet. A fitting name, if that’s the case. The Jabra STEEL is made with the blue collar worker in mind, and is tough enough to survive any environment, be it windy, dusty or plain dirty. With an IP54 rating, you need not worry too much about it not being able to survive the environments you take it to.

Made with big buttons, it's easy to use, even if you have wet or gloved hands operating it. You can also use voice commands to access features from Siri or Google Now, and if you’re on Android, also pick up calls with your voice as well as have your messages read out to you. It also comes with a dual-microphone noise-cancelling system to ensure that you only hear what you’re supposed to hear.

The Jabra STEEL has up to six hours of talk time, weighs only 10 grams and comes with a unique 5-year warranty. You can get it now for RM449.

Jabra Halo Fusion

This is Jabra’s way of telling you that you don’t need a dedicated pair of headphones for music and another headset for voice-related work. The in-ear design isolates outside noise, making sure that you hear only what comes out of the headphones, be it a business call from another person, or a song from your favorite band. It also comes with simple one-touch controls for your calls and music, so you’ll never need to pull your phone out of your pocket.

The Jabra Halo Fusion comes with a neckband, allowing easy access to the earbuds for when you are not wearing them. The whole thing weighs 21 grams, so it’s light enough to not be intrusive. It handles up to 6.5 hours of continuous calls or music playing, and can stay active for 19 days on standby. It can also be paired to eight devices, and accepts connections from two devices simultaneously.

The Jabra Halo Fusion is now available for RM249.

Jabra Sport Pace

If you need your music for your workouts, then the Jabra Sport Pace is for you. It comes with the expected IP54 rating, allowing it to withstand a few splashes here and there, while still being able to pump out your desired tunes. You also get controls on the cable to pick up calls and skip tracks.

Safety has not been forgone either. The cords on the Sport Pace are reflective, so if you prefer to do your runs in the darkness of the night, you won’t be completely invisible to motorists. To help you make the most out of the Sport Pace is the Sport Life app that will serve as your training management tool.

The Jabra Sport Pace is available in Red, Blue and Yellow, and for RM399.
