iPhone SE teardown reveals it has the same camera sensor as iPhone 8 and more

The folks at iFixit have done it again. They have stripped an iPhone SE to see how it works and it's quite interesting.

If you don't already know, the iPhone SE is Apple's newest phone and it also happens to be their most affordable.

It shares many components with other older Apple phones and iFixit's teardown confirms this.

According to them, the iPhone SE shares many similar or identical components as the iPhone 8 including the display, camera sensor, battery, Taptic Engine, SIM tray, main speakers, and more.

They also said that unlike newer iPhones, the iPhone SE is quite repairable as many components are "modular and independently replaceable." They gave it a repairability score of 6 out of 10.
