ILLEGEAR updates its notebooks with Intel Kaby Lake processors

We’ve reviewed a number of ILLEGEAR notebooks in the past, and found each of them to be incredibly powerful in their own rights.

But it looks like they’re now a bigger force to be reckoned with, as the folks at ILLEGEAR have recently announced that they have updated their entire lineup of notebooks with 7th generation Intel Kaby Lake processors.

The ILLEGEAR Q and Z-series, for example, can now be customized to be equipped with a 2.8GHz Core i7-7700HQ processor. The ILLEGEAR S-series, meanwhile, can be furnished with either a Core i7-7700HQ or a 2.9GHz i7-7820HK processor.

Naturally, the desktop replacement D-series have a couple of desktop-class processors for you to choose from, including the 3.4GHz Core i5-7500, 3.8GHz Core i5-7600K, 3.6GHz Core i7-7700, or the top-end 4.2GHz Core i7-7700K.

ILLEGEAR also said that it has updated its Q-series notebooks with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 and GTX 1050 Ti graphics cards, and a programmable RGB backlit keyboard. The Q-series notebooks have undergone a little nip and tuck as well, and are no longer equipped with a DVD drive, thus resulting in a weight reduction of 300g.

The ILLEGEAR U, Q, Z, S, and D-series Kaby Lake notebooks have a starting price of RM4,199, RM4,799, RM6,099, RM6,299, and RM7,899, respectively.  You can personalize their hardware down to the last detail by visiting ILLEGEAR's website, here.
