HTC teams up with supermodel Jourdan Dunn to create the One M9+ INK

Supermodel Jourdan Dunn teamed up with HTC to create the limited edition One M9+ INK.

Celebrity endorsement is a big deal for any and all major companies. HTC knows this, which is why the company had gotten world famous actor, Robert Downey Jr., to pose as the face of the brand for the last couple of years now.

This time, however, the company is looking to make an impression in the world of fashion and its hallowed halls of supermodels and runways. To do that, the company has collaborated with renowned fashion icon and supermodel Jourdan Dunn to create the limited edition HTC One M9+ INK.

The HTC One M9+ INK's iconic two tone metal finishes gave inspiration to a stylish, metallic, Henna art design, which is engraved on the back of the phone. Jourdan says she chose the Henna style simply because it bespoke a unique expression of her feelings, as well as her career.

“Body art is an important part of my look and, as I don't go anywhere without my phone, it makes perfect sense to combine the two to create a uniquely personalized accessory,” Jourdan said. “The opportunity to work with a brand that is famous for design and to put my own creative stamp onto a beautiful looking handset was something that really appealed to me, with the HTC One M9+ INK really capturing my personality.”

The HTC One M9+ INK is the first of its kinds and was unveiled by the supermodel during a global launch in London on June 12, 2015, last week. HTC has yet to announce if they will be bringing in some of these limited edition units to Malaysia, but by the looks of it, it seems that this specially engraved model may only see distribution in Europe and the North American market.
