HP Brings Education Content to HP Deskjet Ink Advantage Printers

In addition to its amazing lineup of new products, HP also announced at HP World Tour on Monday that it would be launching two new education print apps with Singapore's leading education publisher, Singapore Asia Publishing Pte Ltd (SAP), and proprietary brand owner of renowned Primary Math program in Singapore, onSponge Pte Ltd. Designed to enhance the learning experience of young students, these new print apps provide busy parents and their children with direct access to educational content.

Besides reaching out to consumers, HP is also dedicated to offering younger learners education content and high-quality printing at a low cost

The content, which is specially developed for young learners across pre-school and primary school levels, will be delivered directly on their HP Deskjet Advantage 5525, 6525 e-All-in-One projects via the print apps. The SAP Education Print App, for instance, complements in-class learning with content elected from the company's best-selling primary school assessment book. Through this bite-sized materials, student are encouraged good study habits and positive learning through daily practice. The app offers assessment content for English, Math and Science, with plans for Chinese later this year.

The onSponge Learning Print App also provides access to its proprietary +hinkingMath resource, where a series of practice problem sums for students in Primary 3 to Primary 6 levels will be made available through the app. With step-by-step solutions of the problem sums available on www.onSponge.com, students can visit the website or even post questions on its online Forums for help.

Completely free, these HP print apps offer home-users the option of printing content on demand or through HP scheduled delivery. At present, HP's mobile solutions span HP ePrint, HP Wireless Direct and HP Printer Control. There are over 46 million web-connected HP printers worldwide with access to HP's suite of mobile printing solutions, with 8 million downloads of its HP ePrint app globally.
