Guardian Malaysia, in partnership with LINE Malaysia, held the grand finale of the Guardian x LINE Scratch & Win Challenge at Sunway Pyramid. The contest, which ran from February 3 to March 15, saw over 220,000 submissions, of which 10 were shortlisted as finalists in today's final round to win the coveted grand prize: a Hyundai i10 Colourz.

The 10 finalists were given a list of tasks to perform inside the Guardian store in Sunway Pyramid.

"The Guardian Malaysia LINE official account is a fun platform for consumers to further engage with us," said Tey Hong Leng, E-Commerce Manager, Guardian Health and Beauty Sdn Bhd. "Our research has shown that a majority of LINE users are between the ages of 16-35, a youthful market segment that enjoys interaction, fun and excitement."

Brown and Cony dolls were scattered throughout the store for the finalists to discover.

Since the launch of its official LINE account, Guardian Malaysia has garnered over 320,000 friends, a number that the company will continue to grow through exclusive benefits, such as special promotions, free gifts and more. The Scratch & Win Challenge, for example, was opened to all Guardian shoppers who participated using the scratch cards that were given out at all nationwide stores.

One of the tasks had the finalists inspecting the main ingredient in Kordel's supplement.

Wind Koh, Team Leader, LINE Malaysia added, "With Guardian on board as a LINE business partner, we are confident that they will bring more exciting and engaging activities for our users." A set of 16 exclusive Guardian stickers were made available as a free download for LINE users. For those who use LINE camera, these stickers will soon be offered on the app as well.

Upon tallying the scores, Nur Yasmin Mohd Yusof was announced as the grand prize winner for answering the most number of questions correctly within the shortest time duration. The 26-year-old winner was ecstatic to receive a brand new Hyundai i10 Colourz, which she plans to gift to her mother.

Of course, the other finalists did not walk away empty-handed either, as they were given an iPhone 6 and LINE dolls each. To follow Guardian Malaysia, just download the LINE app for Android or iOS and add @GuardianMY to get started.
