GSC nabs Gold Award at 2017 Putra Brand Award for fourth consecutive year

Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC) was recently honored with the Gold Award in the Entertainment category at the 2017 Putra Brand Awards.

This marks the fourth consecutive year GSC has taken home the award, which proves the company is a strong market leader within the Malaysian entertainment industry.

“Receiving the Gold Award for the fourth consecutive year is an honor for GSC, and we would like to take this opportunity to thank our loyal customers who have made this possible. We are proud to have served Malaysians unforgettable movie moments for the last 30 years, and look forward to continuously innovating and enhancing our offerings to deliver enriching cinema experiences that they can enjoy with their friends and family,” said Koh Mei Lee, Chief Executive Officer, Golden Screen Cinemas Sdn Bhd.

GSC also received the esteemed Brand Icon Award, which recognized the company’s success in connecting with their customers.

2017 also marks GSC’s 30th anniversary in Malaysia, and to coincide with the occasion, the company recently opened two more cinemas within the Klang Valley: GSC Melawati Mall and GSC My Town. The latter was built with GSC’s Maxx hall and also boasts Malaysia’s largest cinema.
