Fallout Shelter set to hit Android devices this August

When Fallout Shelter was released on the iOS during E3 2015, the game broke the sales record for being the most popular game ever downloaded on the Apple App Store, grossing US$2.55 million (~RM9.58 million) in a single day, and also dethroning Candy Crush Saga from its no. 3 spot on the list.

Bethesda's wildly popular mobile take of the post-apocalyptic title should be arriving on the Android ecosystem sometime in August.

Sadly, the only people who got to enjoy the new mobile, post-apocalyptic title were iOS users, and Android users were left in the dark as to when Bethesda intended to release the game on the Android ecosystem. That is, until now.

Thanks to Ubergizmo, we now have a slightly more solid confirmation that the company will be bringing its widely popular mobile title to Android sometime in August. According to Bethesda’s Vice President, Pete Hines, the company was already working on optimizing the Android version of the game, but failed to mention an exact release date. In other words, the game could either come out in August as stated, be delayed until September, or maybe, just maybe, we could see an early release of the game within this month.
