In a blog post, Facebook revealed that it will removing a few features. The first feature that is getting the boot which many of us loathe, would be the third-party app invites usually used in games like Farmville. Come February 6 next year, the feature will cease to exist.

The second feature Facebook will be cutting out would be the Native Like Button, meaning that you won't be able to like pages outside of Facebook anymore. The option to comment on external links outside Facebook using your account will also be axed out, as well as the follow button, where users will only be able to 'like' a page.

When it comes to sharing links, the 'Send' button will also be removed, leaving users to share links through other means, such as the Share dialog. Finally, the Sharing Insights link and tab will not be around in Facebook Analytics starting February 6 2018.
