Epson Malaysia is giving back to society by signing a one-year sponsorship agreement with the Tunas Lagenda Football Club (TLFC) – an up and coming local youth football club.

The agreement, which was signed by both parties earlier today, will take effect immediately. As part of the agreement, Epson Malaysia will support TLFC with monetary sponsorship and also conduct brand engagement activities with the local youth football community.

According to Danny Tan, the General Manager of Sales & Marketing at Epson Malaysia, the sponsorship will help TLFC subsidize their cost of participating in football training matches, and pay for the necessary equipment to help TLFC players develop their football skills, amongst other things.

“We are very pleased to support Tunas Lagenda – the brainchild of our national football legend Haji Bakri Ibni, a midfielder who represented the Malaysian national football team in our glory days of the 70s and 80s,” said Danny Lee, General Manager, Sales & Marketing, Epson Malaysia.

This isn’t Epson’s first foray into the world of football. Back in 2015, the company renewed its a partnership with Manchester United as their 'Official Office Equipment Supplier' until the 2017/18 season. This means Epson will be providing equipment such as projectors and printers for players to, say analyze their strategy, for example.
