Computing in Style with the HP Pavilion g4 and dv6

HP has recently unveiled two updated models in its line of Pavilion notebook PCs –the HP Pavilion g4 and HP Pavilion dv6 – both of which feature HP's latest Mosaic design approach, new styling and enhanced features.

An extension of the MUSE (materials, usability, sensory appeal and experience) design philosophy, the Mosaic approach fuses the multifaceted elements of MUSE such as rich colors, premium materials and purposeful shapes to form one comprehensive design language that spans the consumer notebook portfolio. This likens the design concept to an actual mosaic art piece, with each HP notebook line representing a piece of the canvas, which combines to form a beautiful picture of the HP product family.

HP Pavilion g4 in Ruby Red

For the HP Pavilion g4, the new redesign adds curved and beveled edges to the notebook, as well as a bowl-shape keyboard deck and textured touchpad with bowl-set curvature to define the series' distinct form. Available in colors like Sparkling Black, Winter Blue and Ruby Red at a starting price of approximately RM1,999, the g4 also boasts an improved audio experience, thanks to a chrome strip that serves as a visual cue for the audio, and an exposed speaker bar that provides better sound projection.

The sleek, sexy HP Pavilion dv6

The HP Pavilion dv6 has also been revamped with a new tapered chassis, slim top view and metal finish on select models, all of which are influenced by an infinity waterfall edge. Coupled with a soft-touch bottom panel, this sleek notebook – which comes in Midnight Black – is comfortable and easy to hold. With an exposed speaker bar integrated with the display, the dv series magnifies its Beats Audio experience by projecting audio directly to the user. It is available at a starting price of approximately RM2,999.
