COMPUTEX 2017: Best Choice Award winners revealed

Today marked the first day of COMPUTEX Taipei 2017, where the opening ceremony kicked off with the presence of Dr. Chien-Jen Chen, Vice President of the Republic of China (Taiwan); Dr. Chih-Kung Lee, Minister of the Ministry of Economic Affairs; James C.F. Huang, TAITRA Chairman, T.H. Tung, TCA Chairman, and distinguished VIPs.

During the ceremony, 35 products were revealed as recipients of COMPUTEX's Best Choice Award 2017, with the ASUS Zenbo clinching the Best Choice of the Year award for bringing together AI and IoT technologies in its design and application. Six innovate products were selected as Golden Award winners, including Gigabyte's AORUS Z270X-Gaming 9 motherboard, ASUS' ROG Swift PG27UQ 4K HDR gaming monitor, and MSI's GT83VR Titan SLI gaming notebook.

Acer received the 2017 d&i distinguished contribution award for 10 years of transformation in design and innovation.

But that's not all, as Acer and Thermaltake took home the 2017 d&i distinguished contribution awards, while five of the 2017 d&i gold award winners were also honored at the ceremony: Techman Robot's TM5 robotic arm, Dell's Inspiron 15 Gaming notebook, CRYORIG's Taku PC chassis, Embrace Audio Lab's XPUMP 3D audio processor, and PX Taiwan's HDA-9000 pipe antenna.
