COMPUTEX 2016: ECS launches Z170-LIGHTSABER motherboard and LIVA Pro mini PC

Elitegroup Computer System (ECS) has introduced its new LEET GAMING motherboard, the Z170-LIGHTSABER and the LIVA Pro mini PC.

ECS LEET GAMING Z170-LIGHTSABER

The Z170-LIGHTSABER comes with the Killer E2400 Gaming high-performance Gigabit Ethernet controller, which prioritizes bandwidth for gaming, freeing you from latency issues. For audio quality, ECS has included what it calls Superior Audio for electromagnetic interference shielding, a swappable audio amplifier and Nichicon audio capacitors for stability and reliability. The USB power supply design has also been given a refresh to support high power USB devices like VR headsets. To top it all off, there are special illumination LEDs with seven different colors.

The LIVA Pro mini PC of 2016 makes use of the mini-STX motherboard, which is 29 percent smaller than the mini-ITX while keeping the hardware configuration of a standard motherboard. Equipped with a LGA1151 motherboard that supports most Intel Skylake processors, and DDR4 SO-DIMMs up to 32GB, the LIVA Pro also supports USB 3.0 with a Type-C connector, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, as well as dual display support via HDMI and DisplayPort. All this and a 2.5-inch HDD/SSD, housed in a 1.3 liter case.
