CES 2017: Samsung will launch personalized Smart TV services

The annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES) will start next week and Samsung has already announced what it will showcase during the event. They will be introducing several new personalized services for their Smart TV range, including 'Sports', 'Music', and 'TV Plus'.

'Sports' is a service that gives you the latest sports information, such as match schedules, results and more, all in one page. Samsung has plans to partner with names like NBC Sports, UFC and more to expand this service.

'Music', on the other hand, lets you search and identify songs on live TV, or directly from TV programs. Currently, there's content for eight app partners, including Spotify, iHeartRadio, Napster, Deezer, Sirius XM, Vevo, Melon and Bugs. It will only be available in France, Germany, Italy, South Korea, Spain, the U.K., and the U.S.

Finally, 'TV Plus' are IP-based channels featuring premium content services through a new Smart Electronic Program Guide (EPG) solution.
