Bhd during the launch of the imageRUNNER ADVANCE iR-ADV C3500i and iR-ADV 4500i series earlier today.

Canon Marketing (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd invited us to their new head office at the UOA Business Park in Glenmarie, Subang Jaya earlier this morning to witness the launch of the imageRUNNER ADVANCE iR-ADV C3500i and iR-ADV 4500i series of multifunction devices (MFDs).

As you can probably guess from their considerably large stature, the iR-ADV C3500i and iR-ADV 4500i range of MFDs are designed to cater to the workloads of small to medium-sized enterprises. In total, there are three MFDs belonging to the iR-ADV C3500i series, and four MFDs under the iR-ADV 4500i series.

It’s easy to distinguish between the two imageRUNNER ADVANCE series: the iR-ADV C3500i series is able to print in both color and monochrome, while the iR-ADV 4500i series is only able to do so in monochrome.

Both the imageRUNNER ADVANCE series have their similarities, too. They are compatible with a variety of mobile printing solutions such as Apple AirPrint, Google Cloud Print, MOPRIA, and Canon PRINT Business, and share the similar printing, copying, scanning, sending, and storing core functionalities. They likewise have an expansive 10.1-inch TFT LCD color touch panel complete with a user-friendly interface for easy navigation – no more spending precious minutes just figuring out how to scan a document.

Since Canon Malaysia had the iR-ADV C3525i and iR-ADV 4535i on display, we’ll be focusing on their respective specifications.

First up, the iR-ADV C3525i, which has a color A4 print speed of 25 ppm, a maximum print resolution of 1,200 x 1,200 dpi, automatic duplex printing, and a maximum paper input capacity of 2,300 sheets (80 gsm).

The iR-ADV 4535i, meanwhile, has a black and white A4 print speed of 35 ppm, a maximum print resolution of 1,200 dpi x 1,200 dpi, automatic duplex printing, and a maximum paper input capacity of 6,330 sheets (80 gsm).

Canon Malaysia says its imageRUNNER ADVANCE range of MFDs can be rented by SMEs for a monthly fee of less than RM1,000, with contract durations ranging from two to seven years.
