A Blast of Updates from HP World Tour in Beijing

On Monday, HP kicked off its HP World Tour in Beijing, China, announcing a slew of technology updates from the company, which includes commercial and consumer solutions. The event, which saw the attendance of HP leaders such as Meg Whitman, Chief Executive Officer and Bill Veghte, Chief Operating Officer, also included industry analysts and its partners from all over the world. Even Jeffrey Katzenberg, DreamWorks Animation CEO was also present to make an announcement. We were also present during the two-day event, during which we were treated to the announcement of some of the most interesting devices, solutions and services from HP. Here are some of the highlights:

  • Next-Generation PCs for Even More Connected Experiences
    From the HP SlateBook x2 to the HP Split x2, HP Envy Rove to the HP Slate 21 All-in-One, HP has unveiled a broad portfolio of PCs, which offers consumers power and performance for a much more enhanced connected experience. Boasting new form-factors, touch experiences and multiple operating systems, the new array of products of notebooks, tablets and detachables offers users more flexibility and ways to engage and consume content.

  • Stronger Lineup of Business-Oriented Devices, Solutions and Services
    Designed to help organizations save time and resources, advancing their speed and efficiency, HP's new expanded portfolio of printing and personal systems products and solutions are built to integrate seamlessly into existing enterprise environments. This includes new HP Pro and HP Elite series desktop PCs, the new HP OfficeJet 7610 Wide Format e-All-in-One printer and HP ElitePad Mobile POS Solution. More than that, HP has also announced new solutions such as HP Exstream for targeted customer communications and a new suite of services comprising HP Page Plan, HP Priority Services, HP Deployment Services and Mixed Asset Recovery Services for maximizing productivity for businesses.

  • Business Computing with Powerful All-New AiOs and Desktop PCs
    For greater performance and reliability, HP has also announced all new systems to empower organizations with more ways to meet the demands of the modern business environment. Powered by the latest 4th generation Intel Core processors for maximum performance, the new HP EliteOne, EliteDesk 800, ProOne and ProDesk 600 series join the array of new products announced at HP World Tour, as options for businesses that offer a broad combination of power, productivity, manageability and security.
  • Collaborations with New Partners for Young Learners
    Partnering with Singapore's leading education publisher, Singapore Asia Publishers Pte Ltd (SAP) and proprietary brand owner of the renowned Primary Math program in Singapore, onSponge Pte Ltd, HP also launched two new education print apps that will deliver educational content spanning pre-school and primary school levels directly to their HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 5525, 6525 e-All-in-One printers. Through scheduled deliveries, the SAP Education Print App and onSponge Learning Print App will deliver premium education content to home-users and young learners.
  • New Levels of Quality on Industrial Printing
    HP also expanded its industry-leading portfolio of large-format printers with two next-gen digital printers including the HP Latex 3000 printer and HP Scitex FB10000 Industrial Press. Thanks to features like dynamic dot size control to greater media versatility, the new printers, which leverage on HP Latex Printing Technologies and HP scitex High Dynamic Range (HDR) Printing Technology offer businesses printing solutions with even better quality, accuracy and speed.

  • Taking Print to the Cloud
    Last but not least, HP also introduced two web-connected printers designed to transform the large-format printing process, allowing users to access, view and print projects from the cloud. With its capability of delivering fast, high-quality prints, the new HP Designjet T920 and T1500 ePrinter series is built to help busy workgroups complete work efficiently, while collaborating remotely.
