BenQ has announced that its new EX3203R gaming monitor is now available on its Lazada store for S$799.

A 31.5-inch monitor with an 1800R curvature, the EX3203R is a DisplayHDR 400-certified monitor, which means it has just about enough brightness to render HDR content properly. It also supports AMD FreeSync 2, which means games should play smoother on more refresh rates. Based on a 2,560 x 1,440-pixel VA panel, the monitor also boasts 90% DCI-P3 color coverage and 144Hz refresh rate support.

Connectivity-wise, the EX3203R is equipped with both DisplayPort and HDMI inputs. It also sports USB-C but since it doesn’t support Power Delivery, you can’t use it to charge your laptop at the same time (unlike the PD3220U).

Additionally, BenQ believes the eye care tech on the EX3203R will enable the monitor to stand out in today’s crowded field of curved gaming displays. To be more specific, the EX3203R has something called Brightness Intelligence Plus (B.I.+) that takes into account ambient color temperature and brightness before adjusting the monitor’s color temperature and brightness, and which works with FreeSync 2. B.I.+ can also be activated alongside HDR mode (a feature that BenQ calls Opt-Clarity), which the company says will ensure viewing comfort without sacrificing the extra details gained from turning on HDR.
