If you're one of the few who wished for more storage, ASRock has an answer for you in the form of the X99 Extreme11 motherboard. For a start, it boasts a whopping 18 SATA3 6.0Gb/s ports, 10 of which are provided by the Intel X99 chipset itself.

Designed to support up to Intel's 'Haswell-E' Core i7 and the top-of-the-line Xeon processors, the X99 Extreme11 delivers more power to hardware enthusiasts in the form of eight additional SAS3 12.0 Gb/s (or SATA3) ports, thanks to the LSI SAS 3008 controller chip.

Alongside those features, the Super Alloy series board is also packed with two Ultra M.2 PCIe Gen3 x4 32GB/s slots that are hidden between the PCIe slots, as well as two PLX PEX 8747 bridge chips to support 4-Way SLI/CrossFireX in x16 mode. Meanwhile, the 12 Power Phase design ensures better power efficiency, while the support for the latest DDR4 ECC and UDIM/RDIMM memory modules (up to 128GB) makes the X99 Extreme11 ideal for workstation and small server system.
