Apple's most powerful iMac starts from RM20,999

The iMac Pro from WWDC 2017 earlier this year.

Apple has just announced the availability of the iMac Pro in Malaysia, with prices beginning from RM20,999.

First seen at WWDC 2017, the iMac Pro is not just Apple's most powerful iMac ever, it is also be the most powerful Mac ever.

It comes in Space Gray and features a 27-inch 5K Retina display as standard. In addition, it is powered by Intel Xeon processors and available in 8-, 10-, 14-, and 18-core variants.

Users can also spec the iMac Pro with up to 128GB of ECC RAM and up to 4TB of SSD storage. On the graphics front, users can also equip the iMac Pro with up to an AMD Radeon Pro Vega 64 GPU with up to 16GB of HBM2 memory.

Apple Malaysia currently gives the 8-core variant a 5-7 weeks' shipping estimate, while the 10-, 14-, and 18-core variants are listed with a 6-8 weeks' estimate. Should you wish to max out the spec of the iMac Pro (without Final Cut Pro X and Logic Pro X), be prepared to pay an eye-watering RM59,717 for one.
