Apple reportedly looking at introducing iPhone with a stylus

Steve Jobs claimed during the launch of the iPhone in 2007 that "nobody wants a stylus".

Apple's late founder Steve Jobs famously rejected the idea of having a stylus for the iPhone in 2007 as he believed it was redundant for a touchscreen interface. 10 years later, it seems that Apple is now exploring this idea! Industry sources told The Investor that Apple engineers have recently been working on a new iPhone model that comes with a stylus.

“Apple is preparing to launch the phone as early as 2019,” an industry source told The Investor on condition of anonymity. “It is also in talks with a couple of stylus makers for a partnership.”

This isn't the first time that Apple has gone against the beliefs of Steve Jobs. Two years ago, Apple unveiled the Apple Pencil for the 12.9-inch iPad Pro, which was seen by many as an insult to his legacy. If this rumor is true, Apple would be following in the footsteps of its arch rival, Samsung as the latter released the Galaxy Note series in 2011 with the S Pen.
