PSA: iOS 14, iPadOS 14, watchOS 7, and tvOS 14 are now available to update

A quick PSA here. Apple has just released iOS 14, iPadOS 14, watchOS 7, and tvOS 14.

All were announced earlier this year at WWDC 2020 and you can check out here for some of the top new features of iOS 14 and here for the top new features of iPadOS 14.

But to briefly recap, iOS 14 and iPadOS 14 will share many key new features, which include a redesigned home screen, enhanced customisations, new Safari, Messages, and Maps apps.

And if you take a lot of notes with the Apple Pencil, you'd be happy to learn that iPadOS 14 comes with a new feature called Scribble that converts handwritten text into typed text.

watchOS 7 will finally introduce sleep tracking functionality and will include automatic hand-washing detection to help you stay safe. It will also come with a bunch of new watch faces.

As for tvOS 14, it adds multi-user support, enhanced HomeKit support, 4K video streaming from the Photos app on iOS devices, and better audio sharing for AirPods.

To update your iPhones and iPads, simply go to the Settings app, and then head to General, and hit Software Update.

To update your Apple Watch, go to the Watch app on your iPhone, then General, and then Software Update.

To update your Apple TV, go to Settings, select System, and then Software Updates.
