The AMD Ryzen-powered Acer Aspire GX281 arrives in Malaysia

It looks like Acer will be spearheading the AMD Ryzen movement in Malaysia with the debut of the Aspire GX281 gaming desktop earlier today.

Specification-wise, the Aspire GX281 will be powered by a Ryzen 7 1700X processor, and will come with a AMD Radeon RX 480 graphics card, 8GB of DDR4 RAM (upgradeable to 32GB), and a storage combo comprising a 256GB M.2 solid-state drive and a 1TB 7,200RPM hard drive.

Naturally, the Aspire GX281 is endowed with a healthy amount of connectivity ports as well. On its back, you’ll find two USB 3.1 (Gen 2) ports, four USB 2.0 ports, three audio jacks, and a RJ-45 LAN port, while situated on its front is a USB 3.1 Type-C (Gen 1) port, a USB 3.1 Type-A (Gen 1) port, an SD card reader, and two additional audio jacks.

If you need a monitor to go along with the Aspire GX281, perhaps you might want to consider the 43-inch Acer ET430K 4K (3,840 x 2,160) monitor, which was actually launched in Malaysia earlier this year, but recently refreshed with HDR compatibility.

As far as prices are concerned, the Acer Aspire GX281 will be retailing for RM5,499, while the refreshed Acer ET430K can be yours for RM2,399. They can both be purchased from select authorized Acer resellers nationwide starting today.
