Acer announces availability of Spin 5, Swift 3, curved monitor, projectors, and more

Today, Acer announced a massive lineup of products, consisting of new laptops and monitors. They are the Acer Spin 5, the Swift 3, the XR382CQK monitor, the Aspire C 22, as well as the P series projectors.

The Acer Swift 3.

The revamped Acer Swift 3 is powered by an 8th generation Intel Core processor, plus NVIDIA GeForce MX150 graphics. The 15.6-inch laptop is enabled with the latest 2x2 MU-MIMO 802.11ac wireless technology, making wireless downloads three times faster over Wi-Fi. It also features 8GB of DDR4 memory, alongside 256GB internal storage. The Swift 3 comes in Steel Grey and Stellar Blue, and retails at RM4,299.

The Acer Spin 5.

The Acer Spin 5 is a 15.6-inch convertible PC that is also powered by an 8th generation Intel Core i7 processor with optional NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 graphics, in addition to a Full HD display for a great viewing experience. It's also an IPS touch display that works with the Acer Active Stylus, and the Spin 5 has front-facing speakers that are intentionally positioned to ensure that users are always surrounded by sound, regardless of whichever mode the convertible PC is in. The Spin 5 starts at RM4,999

Acer's 37.5-inch XR382CQK curved IPS monitor.

Besides that, Acer unveiled the XR382CQK, which happens to be its first monitor to sport a 37.5-inch IPS curved 21:9 screen. It's also an UltraWide QHD+ display, plus a 2300R curvature for a wider field of view. The monitor is HDR ready, and has AMD's FreeSync technology that takes advantage of dynamic refresh rates to reduce screen tearing. The XR382CQK monitor allows for more productivity with Picture-in-Picture mode, as well as daisy-chain mode. It is priced at RM4,999.

The Aspire C 22 all-in-one PC.

Acer also launched a new all-in-one PC, the Aspire C 22. It features an almost border-less 21.5-inch Full HD display, and operates on 7th generation Intel Core i3 processor. It comes with 4GB of DDR4 RAM, as well as 1TB storage. The desktop is M.2 friendly, and is equipped with a detachable webcam. It retails for RM2,399.

The Acer P1350W projector.

The P series projectors, on the other hand, are Acer's first to be engineered with blue light-filters. Acer BluelightShield lets users lower blue light levels, decrease the negative effects of blue light exposure and reduces up to 30 percent of blue light. They are equipped with Quad View, where the screen can be split into two or four, as well as Mirroring Display, so that Android and Windows devices may directly project onto the screen. The P Series projectors are also multimedia compatible. The price for the P Series starts at RM2,199.

The Swift 3, the XR382CQK monitor, and the P series projectors are available to purchase at all authorized Acer resellers, while the Spin 5 and the Aspire C 22 will be available in mid-November.
