By now, you’ve no doubt read our coverage on NVIDIA’s announcement of the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Founders Edition, its latest no-holds-barred flagship graphics card during a special Editors Day at the GDC 2017 earlier in the month.

Built using the same GP102 Pascal GPU architecture as the TITAN X and with a promise of up to 35 percent better performance numbers and power that surpasses the GeForce GTX 1080 that was released last year, Jen-Hsun Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, wasn’t joking when he hinted at the company’s latest enthusiast-level graphics card being the new king of the hill.

As you have no doubt guessed already, the card has reached our lab, and as with all our graphics card review, we’ll be showing you just how much more powerful this card is from its predecessor and the new TITAN X.

The Good
Performance far exceeds the GeForce GTX 1080
Fair amount of overclocking headroom
Handles 4K gaming beautifully
Cooler shroud design still looks sleek and modern
The Bad
Very high power consumption
Temperatures can go as high as 90-degree Celsius
