Among LG’s Signature line of products are the astonishingly thin W7 OLED 4K HDR TVs. They’re so thin you have to see them to fully appreciate them. The 65-inch version is only 2.57mm thick!
The W7 is so thin that it can actually flex without breaking. It’s so thin, in fact, that it can’t stand on its own, it has to be wall-mounted. LG includes an interesting bracket that easily attaches to the TV via magnets, and at just 18/27 pounds for the 65/70-inch models, two adults can easily carry them.
You might think it already looks thin here in pictures, but you’ll be blown away when you see it in person.
The LG W7’s thinness is made possible because the TV’s main components are housed in a Dolby Atmos soundbar that sits below the display.
The display and soundbar are connected via this proprietary cable that can be neatly hidden behind a false wall or inside the wall.
The ‘W’ in W7 actually stands for ‘wallpaper,’ and you might easily mistake it for one if you passed it by. When mounted, the W7 series are less than 4mm thick when measured from the wall, and the magnetic bracket leaves no gaps between TV and wall.
The LG W7 is an OLED 4K HDR TV, which means it packs some stunning visuals. A black OLED polarizer has been added to keep black levels deep and rich, it packs 25 percent higher luminance and covers 99-percent of DCI color space.
