Harman International today announced several new speakers and earphones from its JBL, Harman Kardon, and AKG line of audio products.
Many of the products are new additions or updated versions from the three major brands.
The JBL Free is one of the many products announced. Available in either black or white, these in-ear earphones are the first pair of JBL that are completely wireless, and rated for up to 24 hours of continuous usage (according to JBL).
There's also an updated JBL E55 BT Quincy Edition headphones. And update from the original E55 BT, the Quincy Edition comes with new features, such as Quincy Signature Sound, Quincy Voice prompts, and the endorsement of the legendary Quincy Jones himself.
Harman also introduced its new Boombox, a portable bluetooth speaker that is waterproof (with IPX7 rating) and can be linked up with more than a 100 other Boombox speakers to a single phone. It also comes with a built-in 20,000mAh, which can be used to recharge your device or to play music for 24 hours non-stop.
Even the Pulse 3 has been given a facelift, with its glowing lights now looking like a singular bulb, and it's also waterproof, so you can take it for a dip in the pool (not that we would advise you to).
On the AKG side, Harman also introduced its new AKG NC60 Wireless over-ear earphones. These earphones feature noise-cancelling, and are currently the headset of choice for the business class section of the German airline, Lufthansa.
Harman has also finally brought in its JBL JR300 and JR300BT headphones for kids. We first saw these products back during IFA 2017. One key feature of these earphone is that they limit the volume to just 85 decibels, so as to prevent the child's ears from being damage from excessive volumes.
