Intel Core i5-6500 RM844

MSI Z170A Gaming Pro Carbon

Gigabyte GTX 1060 G1 Gaming  / MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X  /

Sapphire NITRO+ RX 480 OC

RM1,379 / RM2,349 /

Kingston HyperX Predator 16GB DDR4 2666 (RAM)

Samsung 850 EVO 250GB

WD Blue 2TB

Corsair RM650W

Corsair Graphite 230T

With the Gigabyte GTX 1060 G1 Gaming : RM5,251

With the MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X    : RM6,221

With the Sapphire NITRO+ RX 480 OC : RM5,241

For double the budget of the entry level, we can actually get a little crazy here. With the additional RM3,000, you can opt for a more powerful graphics card such as the GeForce GTX 1070 or Radeon RX 480, with the latter keeping the price more affordable. Of course, if you don't have any plans on getting more than a single card, we do recommend that you opt for the Gigabyte GTX 1060 G1 Gaming.

With the extra money, we’ve also upgraded the CPU to a more powerful, but not overclockable Core i5-6500, a bigger dose of DDR4 RAM, and an even an SSD storage from Samsung to boot (no pun intended).

You can also spend more on a better casing, like the Corsair Graphite 230T.
