Quick analysis (iPhone 8)

Almost across the board, Celcom has both the lowest priced monthly plans and the cheapest phone price. The mid-tier plan comparison is where it gets interesting, as U Mobile's Postpaid i90 plan is the lowest priced among the four telcos, but Celcom's FIRST Gold Plus offers a lot more in terms of data bundle for an extra RM8 a month. However, that is not factoring the additional 7GB Video-Onz and 5GB Roam-Onz allowance that comes bundled with U Mobile's plan.

If you're a heavy data user, however, Celcom's plans are definitely worth considering, especially when you put the FIRST Platinum Plus' 100GB data bundle next to MaxisONE plan 188's 25GB all day + 25GB weekend data bundle. Celcom also throws in unlimited social apps (WeChat and WhatsApp), free Yonder Music, and Video Walla passes (FIRST Gold Supreme onwards). Maxis, on the other hand, offers Share Quota add-on and MaxisONE World roaming advantage.

As for a sub-RM90 plan, you can't really go wrong with Digi's Postpaid 78 plan, which provides 6GB all day + 6GB weekend data bundle for just RM78 a month.
