ZTE Launches its First Single-Chip LTE Smartphone at CommunicAsia 2012

ZTE has launched its first single-ship LTE smartphone - the Grand X LTE (T82) - at CommunicAsia 2012.

Driven by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, the Grand X LTE (T82) adopts the Qualcomm MSM8960 chip, and runs on the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich platform. The Wi-Fi capable smartphone includes an 8-megapixel primary camera which enables 1080p HD video recording and a front-facing camera that allows 720p HD video calls. Additionally, it has a maximum download speed of 100Mbps, and houses a 1900mAh large-capacity battery.

Also on showcase at CommunicAsia are other LTE products including the V96A LTE tablet, the MF821 LTE wireless network card, and the world’s first TD-LTE/EDGE multi-band UFi product - the MF91.

The Grand X LTE (T82) will be available in APAC and Europe in Q3 2012.
