The developers of this new GPU-stressing benchmark wanted to highlight the pristine beauty of Siberia and due to the modular nature of the Unigine Engine, they claim that they can easily place procedural generated objects with photorealism, anywhere in the vast computer-generated landscape that covers a total area of 64,000 square kilometers. This highly detail terrain can be viewed in stereo 3D glory or across multi-monitors in order to vicariously experience its vast expanse

The entire valley is free for users to explore without the fear of braving the elements as users are able to control the weather according to their needs. The highlighted features of the Valley Benchmark are as follows:

  • Extreme hardware stability testing
  • Per-frame GPU temperature and clock monitoring
  • Multi-platform: Windows, Linux, Mac OS X
  • Advanced visual technologies: dynamic sky, volumetric clouds, sun shafts, DOF, ambient occlusion
  • 64,000 square kilometers of extremely detailed, seamless terrain
  • Procedural object placement of vegetation and rocks
  • The entire valley is free to be explored in interactive fly-by or hike-through modes
  • User-controlled dynamic weather
  • Support for stereo 3D and multi-monitor configurations
  • Benchmarking presets
  • Command line automation support
  • Highly customizable reports in CSV format
