U Mobile Collaborates with Intel Malaysia and Acer to Deliver Better Speeds

U Mobile and Intel Malaysia have announced a strategic collaboration to provide customers with the market's first package that offers the fastest mobile Internet in town, beginning with Acer's latest range of devices.

“This collaboration marks the coming together of three innovative entities that are dynamic and responsive to their target audiences. We believe this bundle will bring ample benefits to our customers who value the best in mobility and connectivity. This initiative is also in line with our constant strive to enrich our range of products and services to cater to our customers’ needs,” said Jaffa Sany Ariffin, CEO, U Mobile.

U Mobile is the first and only telco in the country that is collaborating together with Intel and Acer to bundle Ultrabooks with broadband plans. Customers who are looking for an Ultrabook can take home the new Acer Aspire Timeline Ultra M3 Ultrabook, while also enjoying six months of high-speed Internet surfing with speeds of up to 42Mb/s from as low as RM2,699. The MB68 bundle includes 5GB of data, six months Internet access, free modem and delivers savings of up to RM408. Heavy data users can opt for the MB128 plan, which includes 20GB of data, six months Internet access, a free modem and savings of RM668.

The new ultra-thin 19.7mm Acer Aspire Timeline Ultra M3 Ultrabook is powered by the 2nd generation Intel Core i5 Processor and is matched with a choice of high speed mobile broadband plans which offer a complete package of speed, mobility and connectivity.
