Transcend Launches 32GB SDHC Class 10 UHS-I Cards
Transcend has announced the launch of its new 32GB SDHC Class 10 UHS-I (Ultra high Speed Class 1) memory card.

The new card is intended to be used in cutting-edge UHS-I complaint digital photography equipment, allowing it to capture and store up to 32GB of stunningly detailed images and flawless, stutter-free Full HD videos. To help improve camera response, these cards feature read speeds of up to 85MB/s and write speeds of up to 45MB/s, which will greatly reduce wait time after periods of continuous shooting.
Besides its speedy transfer speeds, the 32GB SDHC Class 10 UHS-I cards will effectively ensure ample storage space during long photo shoots and feature-length video recording, as each card can store up to eight hours of 1080p HD footage and over 2,000 RAW images.
The versatility of the SDHC Class 10 UHS-I card offers excellent multiplatform compatibility across a wide range of SDHC and SDXC devices. Devices that are not optimized to use the UHS-I interface will maintain the Class 10 speed rating, providing users with write speeds of at least 10MB/s. As a security measure, the cards will feature a built-in ECC (Error Correction Code) to automatically detect and correct errors during data transfers to prevent data loss and corruption.
