Thecus Announces New NAS Updates
Innovations from Thecus Pave Way for Future Progress

Thecus will exhibit its latest storage solutions and hardware innovations at CeBIT 2012, leading the way in storage especially in its NAS (network attached storage) and NVR (Network Video Recorders) lineup by applying never-seen-before innovations in the industry. Thecus also announced that some of its current NAS models, namely the 1U4200XXX, N5200XXX, N8200XXX, N8900, N12000, N16000, the V Series, and the N4200 Series will support 4TB hard drives with more compatibility on the way.
“CeBIT 2012 is going to be exciting and bursting with Thecus strong lineup for both home and business use,” said Thecus General Manager Florence Shih. “More detail and showcase will be disclosed with the announcement of new features and new products in CeBIT Hannover this March.”
Other highlights of the CeBIT lineup include the first Intel Atom D2700-based NAS with HDMI output: N2800 and N4800 for true multimedia center, including USB 3.0, Dual Gigabit ports and even a mini-UPS on the N4800. On the other hand, the EVO series, which includes the N4100EVO and N2200EVO, feature an energy-saving dual-core Cavium processor that is great for large backups, web hosting, photo serving and even media-streaming capabilities.
Thecus will also showcase the Thecus PAD, a tablet that is built to help one view their multimedia content with ease. It is powered by the NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor and comes equipped with a mini-HDMI port and Thecus Utility for seamless data streaming from your NAS to your TV. More products will be displayed at Thecus' CeBIT booth at Hall 13 from March 6 to March 10, 2012.
