SteelSeries Sponsors All-Women DOTA 2 Team
SteelSeries recently entered a partnership with PMS Asterisk, the first all-women competitive DOTA 2 team. The partnership consists of SteelSeries sponsoring its gaming peripherals for the team, while the team helps with SteelSeries' R&D efforts.
Kim Rom, Chief Marketing Officer of SteelSeries said, “Partnering with competitive teams from around the world who strive to be the best in their game, is something we are proud to continue to support.”
Tammy “Furryfish” Tang, the Team Leader for PMS Asterisk also commented on the partnership, saying “PMS Asterisk prides itself as being one of the long standing teams in competitive DotA and now, the DOTA 2 scene. Asterisk is honored to be recognized as such with this partnership.”
Team PMS Asterisk is one of the best female teams in the SEA region and was established in 2005. They initially began by joining DotA competitions, and are now entering the DOTA 2 scene as well. SteelSeries, on the other hand, is one of the leading gaming peripheral manufacturers.
